MoMenu (a downloadable Java application) is a mobile ordering/booking service.The user can download it over the air (OTA) via infra-red or bluetooth. The application comes in a generic format which can then be loaded with a clients catalogue. Being generic allows for the customer to select which catalogue to load onto MoMenu by entering a unique client code. MoMenu will then download the client's catalogue via WAP.
MoMenu easily adapts to user interaction with account services. User's can download their account information and interact with it as they would on the internet.
Once the customer has made a request, it will be sent to our/client's server via WAP. The request can be processed instantly as they would on the internet. The user will then receive confirmation via WAP or SMS.
MoMenu can be password protected preventing any usage other than the desired customer. All information sent and received can be encrypted.
Because MoMenu is a Java application, customers use it completely offline . Connection is only needed when making a request or downloading new information such as updating account information. This allows for faster interaction and the ability to use the service without the need for a connection.
A key aspect of MoMenu is enabling customers to pay for items via card in a secure and swift process.
